Software: After Effects & Cinema 4D

Here is our latest motion graphics work for Axwells latest trailer release on Axtone  called “In My Mind” by Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl feat. Georgi Kay. We created the 3D model at the end of the trailer from scratch inspired by the original artwork by the brilliant breakfastdesign & used After Effects for post production and colour correction.

Loved working on this project & great track to boot.

Venue: Coachella, Arena, Dance Arena

Comix went to Coachella with Steve Angello and Axwell on the Saturday & Sunday of Coachella Festival in April 2011. Both the guys put on a stomping set. The arena boasted an amazing stage with a huge LED screens and a huge roof video installation.

This what one our highlights of the year, the most amazing festival we have been to in terms of the crowd, set up and setting.

With a massive & super bright widescreen LED wall to work with, we had a great time performing with the guys amazing set, playing red alarming visuals to go alongside the guys opening track “Antidote”. Check it out on the clip below!

Job: Swedish House Mafia, Madison Square Garden Reveal Trailer

Comix where asked to work with EMI on their launch for Swedish House Mafia’s Madison Square Garden, New York show.

When we tour with Swedish House Mafia, we always start the show with an Intro that is projected onto a Kabuki, then the Kabuki drops to reveal the guys. We were asked to use this as inspiration to create this piece.

We used Cinema 4d to make the Kabuki sheet, After Effects for the colour grading and lighting & used Ableton Live for the Audio.
